What is Ham Radio
In a nutshell, Ham Radio is a way to communicate locally, internationally, and even in space, transmitting on certain allotted amateur "ham" radio frequencies, using a wide variety of radio equipment.
There is an overwhhelming amount of information available online with different definitions and interpretations about Ham Radio. You can go down the rabbit hole and get a little lost searching and reading all about Ham Radio. This is one of the main reasons we started HARC. We want to connect Ham's everywhere for both social and educational purposes.
As a member of HARC you will be connected to Ham's with various levels of experience that can help you along your Ham Radio journey. We encourage you to join our HARC Ham Fam. Along the way you will gain many new friends and obtain the valuable information you seek.
